Privacy & Data Collection



The Kiln House website does not collect data about its users or track their use of it. It does not use Cookies. Any interaction with the user's web browser in order to improve the quality of their experience is done without them. Nothing is put onto your device and no information is gathered about you.

If you arrive at the Kiln House website, or have information presented to you, by another Marketing Channel or Service Provider that interacts with it*, then that third party may collect data and track users for its own purposes, which is an entirely separate matter involving their Privacy Policies, not those of Kiln House. It is for users to inform themselves appropriately in that context.

As a business Kiln House must keep records for tax and other purposes and such details as are provided by customers in the course of the business transactions occurring with them, are kept as required, however, these are not used for any other purpose or passed on, except as required by the authorities involved and relevant law.

When making a booking or an enquiry customers or prospective customers may be asked to opt into receiving marketing communications. If they agree their contact details will be retained for that purpose in respect of Kiln House's business and shall not be passed on to others. Anyone having agreed to this that no longer wishes to have their contact details used for this purpose may ask to be taken off the list at any time.

The primary purpose of marketing communications sent from Kiln House will be to notify potentially interested parties, such as returning visitors, of Discounts & Offers that may be of interest to them, including Discount Codes offering them beneficial rates, or to bring a change to the availability dates or terms of standard Discounts & Offers to their attention, as well as to notify other prospective customers of these.

Kiln House recognises that it operates in an experience economy where word of mouth recommendations from satisfied customers are helpful marketing that introduces further business, so may also from time to time offer Discount Codes for new visitors that are referred to Kiln House by other parties. Only if these are acted on to make a booking or enquiry might contact details be kept in the normal course of events as explained above.

Where a substantial change occurs, for example a change of Marketing Channel, Letting Agent, or new website that might affect previous customers’ or other interested parties’ ability to communicate about future bookings, Kiln House may make a once only communication to bring this to their attention.
